Maizery Lacadée Agro-Industrie in the 64
A family maize plant in New Aquitaine since 1999
Since 1936, Lacadée has been developing his business around corn. In Mont, in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques, our maize prolongs this family history with an industrial tool dedicated to the first processing of corn.
As early as the 1960s, maize production enjoyed a remarkable growth with the arrival in southwestern France of the first hybrids from the United States. At that time, we specialize in advising and distributing inputs to farmers. We also collect, dry and store corn.
In 1999, we built a corn mill adjacent to the maize storage silos because we wanted to extend our knowledge of corn to its first processing.
The ambition of our maize factory: mastering the entire maize industry
Our ambition is to control the entire corn industry as a raw material for all processing processes. Our GMO-free corn comes exclusively from conventional non-GMO seeds. Our products meet all ISO 22000 requirements.
If we have chosen to build our maize plant near the silos, it is to be part of the continuity of grain collection, drying and storage. This organization gives a concrete vision of the industry, from producer to ingredient delivered to your production sites in France and export.
The Lacadée Agro-Industrie team at your service
The Lacadée Agro-Industrie team brings together complementary skills to ensure the quality of our products and support our customers on a daily basis:
- Management, which leads the activity and coordinates the various branches of the company.
- The sales manager, your preferred interlocutor to understand your needs and support you in your projects.
- The Quality Manager – Laboratory, which ensures that quality requirements are monitored and complied with.
- The production manager and his deputy, which supervise and coordinate the various stages of production.
- Our 4 mill drivers, at the heart of the know-how of our maize plant and the processing of maize.
- Our 2 teachers, which ensure the packaging of products at the end of production.
A human-sized organization that allows our teams to work together, from the processing of corn to the accompaniment of our customers.
From collection to finished product: a controlled process at each stage
Reception, drying, storage: a solid basis for processing
The regularity of a flour, a meal or a gritz begins well before milling. We follow the corn from its reception, with operations of:
- Drying,
- Cleaning
- Storage
This allows grain stability to be conditioned over time. This upstream mastery counts for the industrialists who expect constant quality, followed volumes and unbroken traceability.
Transformation, control, traceability: useful information for your purchases
Each year, Lacadée Agro-Industrie processes 50,000 tons of corn. Our corn mill centralizes key processing steps:
- Sorting,
- Fine cleaning,
- Splitting,
- Milling and checking of product characteristics.
You thus have an interlocutor who knows the raw material, the process and the documentary constraints associated with your specifications. If you have a specific need for particle size, humidity or conditioning, call the team to exchange your reference and annual volume.
Our maize plant offers you: semolina, gritz, flour and corn germs
Maize meal for human and animal consumption
We produce corn flour used in many industrial processes:
- Biscuits,
- Extrusion,
- Cereals,
- Food formulations
- Animal feed.
Controlling the milling and production parameters makes it possible to guide the choice of reference according to your use.
Maize seed: a granulometry followed for regular processes
Our sized maize meal is intended for manufacturers who need a continued particle size distribution and a stable feed material lot after batch. They find their place in applications such as cereals, certain extruded products or recipes where the final texture depends directly on particle size. The choice of semolina is made according to your process, recipe and regularity goals.
Corn gritz for brewing and industrial uses
The gritz is of particular interest to brewers and industrialists who work in well-defined corn fractions. We produce carefully monitored references on the parameters useful for your manufactures, in a logic of consistency and traceability.
Quality, food safety and export requirements
Controls carried out throughout the process at our maize plant
Food safety is based on concrete controls that we carry out in our in-house laboratory. We follow productions according to criteria such as:
- particle size,
- moisture,
- health risks related to grain, including mycotoxins
This vigilance applies from the receipt of maize to the finished batch, with conventional GMO-free maize and a processing without additive addition.
Documents and follow-up consistent with B2B requirements
For your purchasing teams, quality or R&D, the availability of information counts as much as the product itself. Traceability of lots, documentary monitoring, certificates of analysis on request and technical exchanges are part of daily work.
More than 50% of the volume goes to export to markets such as:
- spain,
- switzerland,
- poland,
- sweden,
- denmark,
- united Kingdom,
- south Korea
This requires a rigorous organization on shipments and associated parts.

Understanding Cornery Simply
Here are the answers to the most common questions about corn processing in our corn mill.
What products of Lacadée Agro-Industrie corn can supply to industrialists?
Lacadée Agro-Industrie transforme le maïs afin d’obtenir différentes fractions adaptées aux besoins des industriels : corn meal, gritz, flours and germs, as well as co-products such as feed meal. These products include brewing, snacks, breakfast cereals, biscuits, food preparations, pet food and animal feed.
How to choose the particle size for my application?
The particle size depends directly on the finished product and the manufacturing process used. A meal intended for extrusion for the manufacture of snacks or cereals will not necessarily have the same characteristics as a gritz intended for brewing. The Lacadée team assists its customers in choosing the product and the particle size corresponding to their industrial needs.
Does Lacadee offer products for pet food and feed?
Yes. Several fractions and co-products from maize processing can be valued in these sectors. The corn germ, particularly high in protein and fat, as well as feed mealmay be intended for animal feed. Some flours also find applications in pet food.
How does Lacadée ensure the quality and regularity of its products?
The quality is monitored throughout the transformation process, with an organisation including, in particular, a quality-laboratory manager dedicated to product control. The mastery of process, production and traceability enables us to meet the requirements of industrial customers.
Can Lacadée supply its products internationally?
Yes. Lacadée Agro-Industrie works with customers in various international markets. For a procurement project, the sales team can study the needs of the customer, the products sought and the conditions associated with its market.
